DIRECTOR: Marcela Coto

Before relocating to Los Angeles, Marcela earned a BFA in Film and Television Production from New York University, where she wrote and directed a number of narrative shorts and documentaries. She also concentrated in Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Chicago, and directed a 35mm short while studying at FAMU in Prague.
SCREENWRITER: Gregory Hendrick

Gregory spent his youth in Colorado, then moved to New Orleans to attend Loyola University. He was then hired by the Home Shopping Network en Espanol, where he made several on-air appearances while working as an audio operator. Before joining the Producing program at AFI, he produced a documentary and directed the short film The Clipper. When he’s not in class or writing, he can occasionally be seen performing congas for Los Broken Corazones or dancing flamenco on a rooftop.
PRODUCER: Javier González-Rubio

Javier graduated from the London College of Communication with a BA in Media and Cultural Studies. He has lived and worked in France, Spain, the UK and in his native Mexico. Before moving to Los Angeles to start his studies at AFI he worked as an Assistant Producer in different movies and tv series such as Under the Same Moon, Sin Nombre and the BBC series Heroes and Villains.
CINEMATOGRAPHER: Jon Aguirresarobe

Originally from San Sebastian, northern Spain, Jon received his bachelor´s degree in Painting and Photography from the San Fernando Art Academy in Madrid. During this period, he also worked in aid projects for Saharian Africa and India as an arts teacher and as a documentary photographer. Prior to his studies at AFI, he used to work in advertising and as a still photographer.

Brady grew up in the Chicago area and received his undergraduate degree in film from Southern Illinois University. For several years, he has been a freelance editor on independent projects, music videos and television. He has also produced and photographed the award winning documentary film The Long Green Line and co-produced the documentary Missing Presumed Dead: The Search for America’s POWs.
